The Black Panther: The Animated Series
Also mentioned in Episode 14 was the Black Panther series that was recently produced for BET. The episodes are available on Netfilx streaming and while I haven’t seen it all yet, what I did see is actually decent.
The animation is a little rough since the show’s budget probably wasn’t astronomical, but it does have a sense of style to it. The same goes for the writing which tries to be light hearted while still making Black Panther feel like a badass. The cast has some interesting names:
As you might notice from the inclusion of Storm, the series follows the basic elements of the most recent incarnation of the Black Panther and even includes some appearances from other Marvel characters like Captain America in the first episode.
As anyone with Netflix knows, finding something decent to watch on the streaming service isn’t always easy, so this is probably worth checking out the next time you’re bored and browsing.
