Episode 18: LGBTQQIA?AWhatEVER

Another episode so soon? We’re on a roll! With this episode, the FNGTAC is officially old enough to vote, view pornographic materials and get married, all the more convenient since New York has recently become the latest state to legalize same-sex marriage (the subject of this very show).

Taking things a little deeper, Vernon and Kamau mostly discuss the growing umbrella of (what was once just) the gay community and the difficulties they’re having keeping track of it all. The Field Negros are a liberal, open minded lot, but it’s getting hard to remember every bit of the ever-changing list of politically correct, socially considerate ways to categorize people based on who they like to have sex with (since everyone seems to think they need their own ultra-specific category). Join them as they do their best to make heads or tails of the whole thing and try to arrive at some sort of internal logic for the system.

Trust me—18 is one of the funniest episodes yet so hop on over to iTunes and take a listen.

  1. Hey Alex. Is it just me/my computer, or is vernon’s voice too quiet to hear? …? Should I try re-downloading it or something? Thanks! ( @dr_duus on twitter)

Sorry for the slow response, I just noticed. Anyway, our fearless leaders are jet-setters so episodes get recorded in all sort of places and it’s definitely possible that this one sounded different in your headphones than mine. Lemme know if it’s still an issue in 19 and 20 and I’ll see what I can figure out.
